Music Director - Stephen Hope
Stephen was a chorister at Canterbury and studied keyboard performance and conducting at Bristol University. Since then, he has enjoyed a varied conducting career with choirs, orchestras and in music theatre.
He has been MD of Basildon Choral Society since 1990.
He formed the Sussex Chorale and conducted an annual concert at Arundel Cathedral with choir, orchestra and eminent soloists - including Felicity Lott, Emma Kirkby, Willard White, Sarah Connolly and Roderick Williams. These concerts have been in aid of the Hospice movement.
